Arthur Harari is a talented French filmmaker, born in Paris in 1981. He is known for his work as a director, a writer of movie scripts, and an actor.
Arthur Harari is especially famous for co-writing the movie Anatomy of a Fall (released in 2023). He wrote this film with Justine Triet. For this amazing work, he won several big awards. These include the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay, and the BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay. He also received the César Award for Best Original Screenplay.
He directed his first full-length movie in 2016. It was a crime drama called Dark Inclusion. In 2021, he also co-wrote and directed a war drama titled Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle. He won a César Award for Best Original Screenplay for this film too.

Arthur Harari's Career in Film
Arthur Harari started his career by making several short films. After these, he directed his first big movie, Dark Inclusion, in 2016. This film was about diamond dealers and family secrets.
His second feature film was Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle. This movie was chosen to open the Un Certain Regard section at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Arthur Harari and his co-writer, Vincent Poymiro, won the César Award for Best Original Screenplay for this film.
In 2023, he co-wrote the script for Anatomy of a Fall. This movie became very successful and won many awards for its original story. One of the biggest awards was the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
In June 2024, Arthur Harari was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This is the group that gives out the Oscar awards. His next movie project is a fantasy film called The Unknown. It will star Léa Seydoux.
Arthur Harari's Family Life
Arthur Harari comes from a family of artists. His grandfather, Clément Harari, was an actor from Egypt and France. Arthur's older brother, Tom, works as a cinematographer, which means he helps film movies. His younger brother, Lucas, writes and draws graphic novels.
Arthur Harari is in a relationship with director Justine Triet. They have two children together. He has also worked with Justine Triet on her films. He co-wrote the screenplays for her movies Sibyl (2019) and Anatomy of a Fall (2023). Anatomy of a Fall won the top prize, the Palme d'Or, at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
