How Was Artist Lake Formed?

Lake Size and Access
Artist Lake has three parts, or basins, that are connected. Together, they cover about 30 acres (about 120,000 square meters). The western basin is very shallow, usually less than two feet deep.
Most of the land around Artist Lake is privately owned. However, there is a public spot where you can visit the lake. You can find this access point on the south side of Middle Country Road (Route 25).
