What the Show Was About
The series followed a group of students at Shakespeare High School. All the action happened during their school breaks. The students would hang out in the hallway. They used this time to figure out problems. These problems included things like love, friendships, and homework. The entire show took place in front of a window in the school hallway. You never saw any scenes outside of this one spot.
How the Show Was Made
As the Bell Rings was first planned for a different TV channel. It was going to be on Nickelodeon UK. The show's first name was Break Kids. But this plan did not happen. Instead, the early episodes of Break Kids aired on Disney Channel. This happened before As the Bell Rings officially started. Disney Channel also aired a similar show called 'Break Kids' in September. However, it was not very popular. It was cancelled after only a few episodes.
