Brad Kavanagh is an English actor and musician. He comes from Whitehaven, a town in Cumbria, England. Brad plays guitar, writes songs, and sings for the English band FLYNT.

He was part of the first cast of Billy Elliott: The Musical. In this show, he played the role of Michael. Brad has also appeared on the Disney Channel. Later, he starred in the Nickelodeon TV show House of Anubis.

Brad's Acting Journey

Brad Kavanagh started acting when he was a child. He joined a local acting group in Cumbria. It was called Whitehaven Theatre Of Youth. He performed in many local plays.

Starting on Stage

Brad made his professional stage debut in the West End. This is a famous theater area in London. He was only 11 years old. He played Michael in Billy Elliot the Musical. Michael is Billy's best friend in the show.

Brad went to St Benedict's Catholic High School in Whitehaven. He finished his GCSEs there. He also studied for his A-levels in Product Design, Electronics, and I.T.

Disney Channel Roles

In 2008, Brad hosted a talent show. It was called My School Musical on Disney Channel UK. He was also on the Green team, The Cyclones. This was for the Disney Channel Games.

In 2009, Brad hosted Undercover Coach for Disney Channel UK. He also appeared in My Camp Rock. He hosted the UK premiere of the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience movie. Brad was also a judge on Hannah-Oke. This was a singing game show. Contestants sang Hannah Montana songs. He also appeared on the American Disney Channel show Pass The Plate.

Starring in House of Anubis

In 2010, Brad got a main role. He was cast as Fabian Rutter. This was for the new Nickelodeon TV show House of Anubis. The show started on January 1, 2011. It became very popular.

Because of its success, a second season was made. Brad played Fabian Rutter again. He continued his role in the third season too. Production for the third season began in 2012. It premiered in January in the US.

On May 21, 2013, Nickelodeon announced a special. It was a 90-minute movie for House of Anubis. It was called Touchstone of Ra. Brad played Fabian Rutter in this special too.

Brad has not been acting much since 2020.
