Brad Kavanagh is an actor and musician from Whitehaven, England. He plays guitar, writes songs, and sings for the English band FLYNT.
He was part of the first cast of Billy Elliot the Musical, playing the role of Michael. Brad has also appeared on the Disney Channel and in the Nickelodeon TV show House of Anubis.

Brad's Acting Journey
Starting on Stage
Brad Kavanagh began acting as a child. He joined a local acting group in Cumbria called Whitehaven Theatre Of Youth. He performed in many local shows before making his professional debut.
At age 11, he joined the famous Billy Elliot the Musical in London's West End. He played Billy's best friend, Michael. Brad went to St Benedict's Catholic High School in Whitehaven. There, he finished his GCSEs and A-levels.
Television Roles
In 2008, Brad Kavanagh hosted a talent show called My School Musical on Disney Channel UK. He was also on the Green team, called The Cyclones, in the Disney Channel Games.
In 2009, Brad hosted Undercover Coach and appeared in My Camp Rock on Disney Channel UK. He also hosted the UK premiere of the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience movie. Brad was a judge on Hannah-Oke, a singing game show where families sang Hannah Montana songs. He also appeared on the American Disney Channel show Pass The Plate.
In 2010, Brad was chosen for a main role in the new Nickelodeon TV show House of Anubis. He played Fabian Rutter. The show started on January 1, 2011. It was very popular, so a second season was made, and Brad continued his role.
He kept working on House of Anubis for a third season, which started filming in 2012 and premiered in January 2013. On May 21, 2013, Nickelodeon announced a special 90-minute episode of House of Anubis. It was called Touchstone of Ra, and Brad played Fabian Rutter again.
Brad has not been active in acting since 2020.

Brad's Music Career
Brad Kavanagh has recorded many songs. You can find some of his covers and original songs on his YouTube channel. Some of his songs are available to buy on iTunes. His earliest songs include "As the Bell Rings" and "Right Time." These were played often on the Disney Channel.
In April 2014, Kavanagh performed in Showcase Live with the band Hollywood Ending. In October 2014, he opened for Hollywood Ending on their UK tour, called the Punk A$$ Kids tour.
