Ashish Sharma is a well-known Indian film and television actor. He also started his own film company called Rachayita Films. Ashish is famous for playing many different characters. Some of his most popular roles include Prithvi Vallabh in Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi and Rama in Siya Ke Ram. He also played Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in Rangrasiya and Chandragupta Maurya in Chandragupta Maurya.

Ashish Sharma's Acting Journey
Ashish Sharma started his acting career in movies in 2010. His first film was called ... Aur Dhokha. In the same year, he also began acting on television. His first TV show was Gunahon Ka Devta, where he played the main character.
Early TV Roles
After his first show, Ashish took on the role of Chandragupta Maurya in a historical drama series. This show was also called Chandragupta Maurya. He then appeared in another TV show on Zee TV called Rab Se Sohna Isshq, where he played a character named Ranveer.
Becoming a Household Name
In 2014, Ashish became very popular for his role as Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat. He played a border security officer in the Colors TV show RangRasiya. This role made him a household name and earned him a lot of praise.
That same year, Ashish also won the seventh season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He danced with his choreographer partner, Shampa Sonthalia. He also hosted a radio show called Tujhse Naaraaz Nahin Zindagi.
Recent Projects and Film Production
Ashish was last seen on Sony TV in the show Prithvi Vallabh - Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi in 2018. After taking a break from TV, Ashish and his wife, Archana Taide, produced a movie called Khejdi. Ashish also acted in this film, playing a transgender character. The movie was shown at many international film festivals. It won several awards, including Best Actor for Ashish at the NYC South Asian Film Festival in 2019.
In 2019, Ashish played the role of India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. This was in a web series directed by Umesh Shukla, called Modi – A Journey of a Common Man. The first season was released on Eros Now in 2019, and the second season came out in 2020.
In 2022, his movie Hindutva, which was written and directed by Karan Razdan, was released. Ashish is currently working on producing and acting in a new web series. He is starring alongside Gulshan Grover and Sonarika Bhadoria in this upcoming project.

Ashish Sharma was born and grew up in Jaipur, a city in India. On January 30, 2013, he married television actress Archana Taide. Their wedding took place in Jaipur.
