Education and Early Life
Aska Yang was born in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. He went to the National Changhua University of Education, where he studied Guidance and Counselling. While he was a student, he loved to sing and often joined singing contests, winning several prizes.
Later, he decided to continue his studies. He enrolled in a master's degree program at the National Taiwan Sport University, focusing on Sports Psychology.
Musical Journey
Rise to Fame on 'One Million Star'
Aska Yang became famous in 2007 when he appeared on the first season of a popular Taiwanese TV singing show called One Million Star. His performances of songs like "Goodbye My Love" and "Betrayal" wowed the audience and judges.
Even though he didn't win the whole competition, he became a huge star. He and the other top contestants released two albums together. Aska recorded four songs for these albums, including his first original song, "Broken Wings."
