Auburn Gabrielle Williams, known simply as Auburn, is an American singer and songwriter. She was born on December 2, 1989. Auburn started her music journey by sharing songs online. She released her first independent album, Same Giirl, in 2007. This album included a popular song called "Ewww Ewww". Later, she signed with big record labels like Warner Bros. and Beluga Heights. Her first official single, "La La La," came out in 2010 and became a hit.

Starting Her Music Journey
Auburn loved singing from a young age. However, she did not plan to become a professional singer at first. In 2004, she began using a website called Myspace.com to share her music. She shared her songs with friends, and soon, she gained many fans.
In late 2007, Auburn released her first independent album, Same GiiRL. This album created a lot of excitement. It also caught the attention of J.R. Rotem, who owned the record label Beluga Heights. A song from the album, "Ewww Ewww," which featured Chellii-B, became very popular. It reached number six on an underground hip-hop chart.
Becoming a Mainstream Artist
Auburn's first album helped her get noticed by J.R. Rotem. In early 2008, Auburn signed with Beluga Heights Records. This was a big step for her career. She also had agreements with TM3 Records and distribution from Warner Bros. and Universal. She became the first female artist signed to Beluga Heights. After signing, she began working on her first album for a major record label.
Auburn's first official song, "La La La," featured the singer Iyaz. It was released on June 1, 2010. The song quickly became popular. It reached number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
Auburn also had the chance to open for Jason Derulo's tour in the fall of 2010. Her second song, "All About Him," came out on November 26, 2010. This song became a big hit in countries like the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia. A new version of the song, "All About Him (Part 2)," featured the rapper Tyga. It was released in February 2011. "Perfect Two" was her third song from her debut album. It was released in April 2011. On January 12, 2013, Auburn released her fourth song, "My Baby."
