Augusta is a small village located in Kalamazoo County, in the state of Michigan, United States. In 2010, about 885 people lived there. A small part of the village reaches into Charleston Township, but most of it is in Ross Township.
Augusta is found along the M-96 highway. It's about 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Galesburg. It's also about 7 miles (11 km) west of downtown Battle Creek. The city of Kalamazoo is another 10 miles (16 km) west of Galesburg. The Fort Custer Recreation Area is just south of Augusta, next to the Kalamazoo River. Augusta was first settled in 1832.

In 1951, the communities of Augusta and Galesburg joined together to create a public school district. This district is called Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools. Today, it has a primary school and a high school in Galesburg. The middle school is located right in Augusta.
