Austin Corbett, born on September 5, 1995, is an American professional football player. He plays as a guard for the Carolina Panthers in the National Football League (NFL). Austin went to Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada. He started his college football journey at Nevada as a walk-on player.

College Football Journey
Before the 2017 season, Austin Corbett was a very experienced player. He was an offensive lineman for the Nevada Wolf Pack team. After his final season, he earned many team awards. He was named the Basalite Big Blocker and a team captain.
Austin was a starter for four years at Nevada. He played as the left tackle. He took over this important role from Joel Bitonio. Joel later became his teammate on the Cleveland Browns. Austin started playing as a redshirt freshman.
After his senior year, Austin was chosen as a semifinalist for the 2017 Burlsworth Trophy. This award goes to college football players who started as walk-ons. He was also invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl. This is a special game for top college players.

Austin Corbett was drafted into the NFL in 2018. He was picked by the Cleveland Browns.
Playing for the Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns chose Austin Corbett in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft. He was the 33rd player picked overall. On May 6, Austin signed a four-year contract with the team.
Time with the Los Angeles Rams
The Browns traded Austin to the Los Angeles Rams on October 15, 2019. In return, the Rams gave the Browns a pick in the 2021 NFL draft. After joining the Rams in 2019, Austin started in 7 of 8 games.
In the 2021-22 season, Austin started all 17 regular season games. He also started in every playoff game. This included Super Bowl LVI. The Rams won the Super Bowl 23-20. They played against the Cincinnati Bengals in their home stadium.
Joining the Carolina Panthers
On March 16, 2022, Austin Corbett signed a three-year contract. He joined the Carolina Panthers. In the last game of the season against the New Orleans Saints, he got a serious knee injury. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament.
On August 29, 2023, Austin was placed on a special list. This meant he had to miss the first four games of the 2023 season. He was able to play again on October 24. However, he suffered another knee injury in Week 11. This injury ended his season, and he was placed on injured reserve on November 22.
Austin started the 2024 season as the Panthers' starting center. He played in the first five games. But in Week 5, he tore his biceps. This injury also ended his season.
