Babbie Mason (born February 1, 1955) is an American gospel singer and songwriter. She is also a writer and a TV talk-show host. Babbie teaches songwriting at Point University and Lee University.

Babbie's father was a Baptist pastor. Her family has been involved in ministry for at least five generations. Babbie started playing the piano for her church in 1964. She also directed the choir at her father's church.

Babbie Mason's Early Life and Career

Before becoming a famous singer, Babbie Mason was a teacher in Michigan. In 1980, she moved to Georgia. There, she continued her teaching job.

In 1984, Babbie decided to focus on her music career. The next year, she won top awards. She won for both songwriting and singing at a big Christian music event. In 1988, Babbie signed her first record deal. This was with Word Records in Nashville, Tennessee.

Babbie Mason's Music Journey

Babbie Mason taught music at East Cobb Middle School in the early 1980s. She later wrote many popular songs. These include "Each One, Reach One" and "A World of Difference."
