Economy and Resources

Balochistan in Afghanistan

A Look Back: British India's Balochistan

Before Pakistan became an independent country in 1947, a part of the region was known as Baluchistan (Chief commissioners province). This was a province under British rule in India. After India was divided, this area became part of Pakistan.
