What is Bangalee Like?
Bangalee is a narrow strip of land right next to the ocean. It is located on the beautiful Capricorn Coast. This area is famous for its lovely beaches and clear waters.
The locality mainly has two streets with houses. These homes are built right by the beach, offering great views. Bangalee is almost completely surrounded by another area called Farnborough.
A Quick Look at History
Bangalee's local government structure has changed a few times. From 2008 to 2013, Bangalee was part of the Rockhampton Region. This meant its local services were managed by Rockhampton.
However, in 2014, the Shire of Livingstone was brought back. This change meant Bangalee became part of the Livingstone Shire again. This shire now manages local services for Bangalee and other nearby communities.
