Battlestar Galactica tells the story of humanity's last survivors. They are fleeing from a powerful enemy called the Cylons. The Cylons are advanced robots. They were created by humans but turned against them.

The Cylons attacked the Twelve Colonies of Kobol. This was humanity's home. Only a few thousand people survived. They escaped on a fleet of spaceships. Their only protection is the last remaining warship, the Battlestar Galactica.

The Journey for a New Home

The fleet is led by Commander William Adama. He is the captain of the Battlestar Galactica. President Laura Roslin also guides the survivors. She was a government official before the attack.

Their mission is to find a legendary planet called Earth. They hope it will be a safe new home. But the journey is very dangerous. The Cylons are always hunting them.

Who are the Cylons?

The Cylons are not just simple robots. Some of them look exactly like humans. They can even blend in with the human survivors. This makes it hard to know who to trust.
