Tricia Janine Helfer (born April 11, 1974) is an actress from Canada and the United States. She is famous for playing Number Six in the science fiction TV show Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009). She also lent her voice to Sarah Kerrigan in the video game StarCraft II (2010–2015). Later, she played Charlotte Richards and the Goddess in the fantasy series Lucifer (2016–2021).

Early Life and Discovery
Tricia Helfer was born in a small town called Donalda, Alberta, Canada. Her parents are Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She has German, English, Swedish, and Norwegian family roots.
She went to William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler, Alberta. Tricia grew up working on her family's grain farm with her three sisters, Trena, Tammy, and Tara.
When she was 17, a modeling scout noticed her while she was waiting in line at a movie theater. This was how her career began!

Modeling Career
In 1992, Tricia won the Ford Models' Supermodel of the World competition. She worked as a fashion model until 2002. After that, any modeling she did was usually connected to acting projects or product ads. She appeared in campaigns for big fashion brands like Ralph Lauren, Versace, Chanel, and Giorgio Armani.
Tricia also walked in fashion shows for famous designers such as Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, and Dolce & Gabbana. Her face has been on the covers of many well-known magazines, including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue.
Becoming an Actress
In 2002, Tricia moved to Los Angeles to become a full-time actress. Her first acting job was in the TV series Jeremiah. She also appeared in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2002, she acted in an independent movie called White Rush.
In 2003, she got a big role as Number Six in the TV show Battlestar Galactica. She also played Farrah Fawcett in a TV movie in 2004. For a while, she hosted Canada's Next Top Model starting in 2006, but she left to focus on Battlestar Galactica.
Tricia also played a character named Kilian Qatar in the video game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. She also appeared in an episode of Supernatural.
She had a repeating role on the TV show Two and a Half Men. She played Gail, who was the best friend of Charlie's fiancée.
Battlestar Galactica Role
In 2003, a new version of the old TV series Battlestar Galactica was made as a three-hour miniseries. Tricia Helfer played Number Six, a human-like robot called a Cylon. She continued this role in the main TV series, which ended in 2009. Because there are many "copies" of Number Six, Tricia played several different versions of the character, each with their own personality. In 2009, she played Number Six again in a TV movie called Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. She also voiced a robot in the prequel show Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome in 2012.

After Battlestar Galactica, Tricia Helfer continued to work a lot. She appeared in TV shows like Chuck and Burn Notice. She also appeared in a music video for the band Old 97's.
Tricia has voiced many characters in popular video games. She was Kilian Quatar in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Veronica Dare in Halo 3: ODST, and EDI in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. She is also the voice of Sarah Kerrigan in the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty games. She voiced Black Cat in The Spectacular Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.
In 2010, she joined the cast of the TV drama Dark Blue. She also made guest appearances in shows like Lie to Me and No Ordinary Family. In 2011, she was in a music video for The Black Keys. She also starred in the TV movie Mistletoe Over Manhattan.

In 2003, Tricia Helfer married Jonathan Marshall, a lawyer. They later went their separate ways in 2019.
In 2011, Tricia became a citizen of the United States.
She has had some back surgeries due to injuries from doing her own stunts and an accident on an airplane.
Tricia co-founded a charity website called "Acting Outlaws" with her former Battlestar Galactica co-star, Katee Sackhoff. This website helps collect money for different good causes and charity events. She also helps with other causes, like rescuing animals and helping with environmental issues. In 2014, she was in a video for PETA, encouraging cat owners to keep their cats indoors for safety.
Tricia Helfer is a vegetarian.
