Beaver is a small community in Tillamook County, Oregon, in the United States. It is located along U.S. Route 101 and the Nestucca River. Beaver is about 12 miles (19 km) south of the city of Tillamook.

History of Beaver
The community of Beaver got its own post office in 1889. It is named after the American beaver. These busy animals were very important to the early economy of the Oregon Country. Many places in the area were named after them. The pioneers of Oregon thought the hard work of beavers was like the growth of their new homes.
