Beceite (pronounced beh-THAY-ee-teh in Spanish) or Beseit (pronounced beh-ZAYT in Catalan) is a small town in Spain. It is located in the Matarraña/Matarranya region, within the Teruel province of Aragon. In 2018, about 541 people lived there.
Beceite is known for the beautiful Ports de Beseit mountain range. This area is famous for its huge limestone mountains. The town is also part of a special area in eastern Aragon called La Franja, where people speak Catalan.
