Beinn a' Chrùlaiste is a cool mountain located in the Scottish Highlands of Scotland. It stands proudly to the north of Glen Coe, a famous valley known for its amazing scenery. This mountain is shaped a bit like a rectangle and is easy to spot from the main A82 road and the historic Old Military Road, which is also part of the West Highland Way walking trail.
When you're driving along the A82, you can even catch a glimpse of the top of another famous peak, Stob Dearg, which is part of Buachaille Etive Mòr. Beinn a' Chrùlaiste itself reaches a height of 857 meters (about 2,811 feet). This height makes it known as a "Corbett" in Scotland.

Beinn a' Chrùlaiste is a mountain with a width of about three miles. It has more than one peak! On its western side, there's another summit called Stob Beinn a' Chrùlaiste. This smaller peak is 639 meters (or 2,096 feet) high. The name "Beinn a' Chrùlaiste" comes from the Gaelic and means "Rocky Hill," which perfectly describes its rugged appearance.
