Belleview is a city located in Marion County, Florida, in the United States. In 2020, about 5,400 people lived there. This was more than the 4,500 people who lived there in 2010. Belleview is part of the larger Ocala area. Its name comes from French words meaning "beautiful view". Belleview's motto is "City with Small Town Charm".

A post office opened in Belleview in 1883. The city officially became a town on May 8, 1885.

Belleview is in the southern part of Marion County. Important roads like U.S. Routes 27, 301, and 441 go through the middle of the city.
These roads connect Belleview to other places:
- Routes 27, 301, and 441 go northwest about 10 miles (16 km) to Ocala, which is the main city of the county.
- Routes 27 and 441 go southeast about 22 miles (35 km) to Leesburg.
- Route 301 goes south about 13 miles (21 km) to Wildwood.
