Ben 10 (also known as Ben 10 Classic) is an American animated TV show. It was created by a group called Man of Action and made by Cartoon Network Studios. The story is about a 10-year-old boy named Ben Tennyson. He finds a special alien watch called the "Omnitrix."
This watch attaches to his wrist and lets him change into many different alien creatures. Each alien has its own unique powers. Ben uses these powers to fight bad guys from Earth and outer space. He does this with his cousin Gwen and his Grandpa Max.
The show first aired on Cartoon Network on December 27, 2005. It became very popular and even won an Emmy Award. Ben 10 led to a whole series of shows and movies. These include Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and Ben 10: Omniverse. A new version of the show started in 2016.

About the Story
The series follows Ben Tennyson (voiced by Tara Strong) during his summer vacation. He is traveling across the country with his cousin Gwen (voiced by Meagan Smith) and their Grandpa Max (voiced by Paul Eiding). They travel in their RV, which they call the "Rustbucket."
One night, Ben finds a strange alien pod. Inside is a mysterious watch-like device called the Omnitrix. The device sticks to his wrist and gives him the power to change into various alien forms. Each alien has special skills and powers. With these new abilities, Ben has to learn what it means to be a hero. During their trip, the Tennysons face many enemies, from aliens to magical creatures.

Ben Tennyson
Benjamin Kirby "Ben" Tennyson is a confident and sometimes silly boy. He loves being the center of attention and often makes jokes, even during fights. Even though he can be immature, Ben is kind, brave, and very loyal. He always wants to help and save others, whether they are human or alien. Ben is also clever and quick-thinking, which helps him get out of tough spots. He can even remember things perfectly, like a photographic memory.
Gwen Tennyson
Gwendolyn Catherine "Gwen" Tennyson is a smart and kind girl. She is very good with computers and knows some martial arts. Gwen is independent and likes things to be organized. Her most special skill is her hidden talent for magic. She got her powers from her alien grandmother, Verdona Tennyson. Gwen is very skilled at magic, even before she fully learns about it.
Grandpa Max Tennyson
Grandpa Maxwell "Max" Tennyson is Ben and Gwen's grandfather. He is a retired "Plumber," which is a secret organization that deals with alien threats. Max is very experienced and often helps Ben and Gwen understand the alien world. He is brave and always looks out for his grandkids. Max has many interesting stories from his past adventures.
Main Villains
Vilgax
Vilgax is a powerful alien warlord, known as one of the most feared beings in the galaxy. He wants the Omnitrix so he can create a super army of shapeshifting aliens. Vilgax was an old enemy of Grandpa Max. After being badly hurt, he became even stronger with robot parts. This made him a huge and powerful enemy for Ben. Vilgax is Ben's main enemy in the first season and appears often in later seasons.
Kevin Ethan Levin
Kevin is an 11-year-old boy who can absorb energy. He uses his power to cause trouble and doesn't care if he hurts others. At first, he wanted to team up with Ben, but Ben refused. Zs'Skayr
Zs'Skayr is an alien ghost-like being who wanted to take over the galaxy. He accidentally got his own DNA sampled into the Omnitrix, becoming the alien known as Ghostfreak. Dr. Aloysius James Animo
Dr. Animo was a brilliant scientist who did strange experiments on animals, trying to mutate them. When he lost an award because of his weird research, he went a little crazy. He became Ben's personal enemy, always trying to defeat him and rule the world. He can control, bring back to life, and create mutant animals.
