Main Characters

Ben Tennyson: The Hero with the Omnitrix

Ben Tennyson, ready for action!

Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, also known as Ben 10, is the main hero of the Ben 10 shows. When he was 10 years old, Ben found a special watch called the Omnitrix during his summer vacation. This amazing device attached to his wrist and let him change into many different aliens! He uses these alien powers to fight bad guys and protect people. But he also has to watch out for the alien warlord Vilgax, who really wants the Omnitrix for himself.

At first, Ben was a bit self-centered and only liked being a hero for the excitement. People sometimes wondered if he was truly ready to be a hero. But as the series went on, Ben grew up a lot. He became a strong leader, especially when his Grandpa Max disappeared. Even though he could be a bit silly sometimes, Ben always wanted to help and protect his family and friends. He's also super clever when he needs to be, like when the Omnitrix gives him the wrong alien, and he still finds a way to win!

Later, Ben stopped using the Omnitrix for a while. But when Grandpa Max went missing, Ben put the watch back on to find him. After saving the world from the Highbreed, Ben became a famous hero. He even got a new version of the Omnitrix called the Ultimatrix, which could turn his aliens into even more powerful "Ultimate" forms!

In Ben 10: Omniverse, Ben gets a new partner, Rook Blonko, because Gwen and Kevin go off to college. Ben also learns about Undertown, a secret city where aliens live right under his hometown! By the end of the series, Ben decides to travel the galaxy with his friends.

Gwen Tennyson: The Smart and Magical Cousin

Gwen Tennyson, Ben's clever cousin.

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson is Ben's cousin. She starts out at 10 years old in Ben 10, then is 15 in Alien Force, and 16 in Ultimate Alien and Omniverse.

In the first series, Gwen and Ben often argued, but they always had each other's backs. Gwen is super smart and a skilled martial artist. She has black belts in Karate and Taekwondo, and she's also trained in Jujitsu. She's a fantastic student and even goes to a top college later on!

Gwen's most special power is her amazing magic. She can use different magic items and spells, and she can create pink or magenta energy blasts and shapes, like weapons. She even became a superhero called "Lucky Girl" twice! Later, Gwen finds out her powers aren't just magic; they come from her alien grandmother, who was an Anodite. Anodites can control mana, which is like the energy of magic and life. When Gwen gets really angry or stressed, she can even turn into an Anodite energy form!

In Omniverse, Gwen goes to college with Kevin but often comes back to help Ben fight evil using her magic. She also learns how to change between her human and Anodite forms more easily.

Max Tennyson: The Grandpa with a Secret Past

Grandpa Max, a former Plumber.

Maxwell "Max" Tennyson is Ben and Gwen's awesome grandpa. He's around 60 years old in the first series. Even though he's older, he's a very good fighter and always supports Ben. Ben and Gwen first thought he was just a regular plumber, but they later found out he was a "Magister" (a leader) in a secret space police group called the Plumbers!

Max drives a cool RV called the "Rust Bucket," which is secretly packed with Plumber weapons and tech. He was supposed to receive the Omnitrix, but Ben found it instead. Max also had a romantic relationship with an alien called Verdona, who was an Anodite, just like Gwen's powers!

In Alien Force, Max helps stop a big alien invasion. He even gets sent to a place called the Null Void but fights his way back. After the invasion, Max trains new Plumbers and helps Ben and his team learn about alien threats.

Kevin Levin: From Enemy to Best Friend

Kevin Levin, Ben's friend and Gwen's boyfriend.

Kevin Ethan Levin is an Osmosian, an alien who can absorb materials and energy. He first appears as an 11-year-old enemy of Ben in the original series. But later, he changes his ways and becomes Ben's best friend and Gwen's boyfriend!

Kevin had a tough childhood and ran away from home. He met Ben and tried to use the Omnitrix's power for himself, which accidentally turned him into a mix of Ben's aliens. After spending time in the Null Void, he learned to control his powers and became normal again.

Kevin might not have gone to school much, but he knows a lot about aliens and their tech. He has a cool muscle car that's tricked out with Plumber and alien technology. Even though he's a good guy now, Kevin can still be a bit selfish sometimes. He's a loyal friend and a strong ally to Ben and Gwen.

In Ultimate Alien, Kevin accidentally absorbs too much energy from the Ultimatrix, which makes him lose his mind and turn into a monster again. Ben and Gwen have to find a way to help him. In Omniverse, Kevin moves to college with Gwen but often comes back to help fight bad guys. He even adopts a cool alien pet named Zed!

Rook Blonko: Ben's New Partner

Rook Blonko, Ben's loyal partner.

Rook Blonko is an alien from the planet Revonnah. He's a highly trained Plumber that Grandpa Max assigns to be Ben's new partner when Gwen and Kevin go to college.

Rook is a top graduate from the Plumber Academy and a skilled fighter. He uses a special weapon called the Proto-tool, which can change into many different tools and weapons. Even though he's very good, he doesn't have much real-world experience at first. He also doesn't understand Earth culture very well, especially sarcasm, which is funny because Ben loves to joke around!

As the series goes on, Rook becomes a better Plumber and even gets promoted. He learns to understand Ben's jokes and becomes a true friend and partner.

Glitch: The Omnitrix Hybrid

Glitch is a unique character created when Ben used his alien form, Upgrade, to fix the Omnitrix. Part of Upgrade's alien DNA mixed with Ben's human DNA, creating Glitch!

Glitch has some of Ben's fun-loving personality but is also more patient and serious. He knows a lot about how the Omnitrix works. After a big adventure, Glitch moves into the Rust Bucket and makes it even better, becoming a new member of the Tennyson family.

Zs'Skayr (pronounced Zuh-Scare) is an Ectonurite, the same species as Ben's alien Ghostfreak. He is a very scary and powerful ghost-like alien who wants to plunge Earth into eternal darkness. He was trapped inside the Omnitrix for a while, which is how Ben got the Ghostfreak form.

Dr. Viktor: The Mad Scientist's Assistant

Dr. Viktor is a Transylian, a Frankenstein-like alien, and a brilliant scientist who works for Zs'Skayr. He helps Zs'Skayr with his evil plans, often using his scientific skills to create dangerous devices.

Eon: The Time-Traveling Villain

Eon is a mysterious and dangerous villain who can control time and travel through different timelines. He often tries to get Ben to join him or steal the Omnitrix for his own dark purposes.

DNAliens are creatures created when alien leeches called Xenocytes attach to a host, like a human, and change their minds and bodies. They serve the Highbreed and are very dangerous.

Albedo: Ben's Evil Clone

Albedo, Ben's evil Galvan clone.

Albedo is a super-smart Galvan who used to work with Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix. He built his own Omnitrix, but because Ben's human DNA was set as the default, Albedo got stuck looking like a perfect clone of Ben! He often tries to get Ben's Omnitrix to turn back into his original Galvan form.

Aggregor: The Energy Absorber

Aggregor is a powerful Osmosian alien who can absorb the powers of other aliens. He tries to absorb five special aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy to become super powerful.

Will Harangue: The Anti-Alien Reporter

Will Harangue is a TV reporter who hates aliens and tries to make Ben look bad. He often spreads false information and tries to turn people against aliens.

Carl Nesmith (Captain Nemesis): The Fake Hero

Carl Nesmith, also known as Captain Nemesis, was a famous superhero before Ben came along. But he was actually a fraud who staged crimes to make himself look good. He gets very jealous of Ben's fame and tries to get revenge.

Malware: The Corrupted Mechamorph

Malware is a dangerous Galvanic Mechamorph (the same species as Upgrade) who was corrupted and turned evil. He can absorb technology and become stronger, and he has a deep hatred for Azmuth.

Khyber: The Hunter

Khyber is a skilled alien hunter who uses his special Nemetrix device to turn his pet dog into different alien predators. He often hunts Ben and his aliens for sport.

Dr. Psychobos: The Smart Bug

Dr. Psychobos is a super-intelligent alien bug who often works with Khyber. He's very smart but also very arrogant and evil.

Undertown Thugs: The Alien Criminals

These are different criminal aliens who live in Undertown, a hidden city under Bellwood. They often cause trouble for Ben and Rook.
