Berg Municipality (called Bergs kommun in Swedish and Bïerjien tjïelte in South Sami) is a special area in Jämtland County in northern Sweden. It's like a local government area, and its main town is Svenstavik. This municipality was created in 1971 by joining several smaller areas together. Even though Berg Municipality covers a very large area, it doesn't have many people living there, which is common in northern Sweden.
