Bernadette Schild is a retired World Cup alpine ski racer from Austria. She was born on January 2, 1990.

Bernadette grew up in Zell am See, Salzburg. She was especially good at slalom, a type of ski race where skiers go around many gates. She started her World Cup career in March 2008 when she was 18 years old.

Her first big success was in March 2013. She finished second in a slalom race in Lenzerheide, which was her first time on the podium. Nine months later, she got another third-place finish in Courchevel.

Bernadette is the younger sister of another famous skier, Marlies Raich. They even shared the podium twice during the 2014 season. This happened in Courchevel and Kranjska Gora. In June 2016, Bernadette married her trainer, Armin Wierer. She retired from professional skiing in March 2021.
