The Berrys River is a cool, flowing waterway in southeastern New Hampshire, United States. It's about 12.9 miles (20.8 kilometers) long. This river is like a smaller helper stream, called a tributary, that eventually joins the Isinglass River. From there, its waters travel through the Cocheco River and the Piscataqua River system, finally reaching the big Atlantic Ocean!

Where Does the Berrys River Flow?

The Berrys River begins its journey in a town called Farmington. It starts high up, about 910 feet (277 meters) above sea level.

The River's Path

As the river flows, it heads southeast. It passes by a place called Blue Job Mountain. Then, it turns south and goes through the eastern part of Strafford.

Journey to Barrington

Next, the Berrys River enters Barrington. Here, its flow is slowed down by a spot called Long Pond. About one mile (1.6 kilometers) after leaving Long Pond, the Berrys River meets the Isinglass River. This is where its journey ends, at an elevation of about 235 feet (72 meters).
