Bertrix is a town in Belgium, located in the province of Luxembourg. It's part of a region called Wallonia. As of January 1, 2007, about 8,164 people lived there. The town covers an area of 137.7 square kilometers. This means there were about 59 people living in each square kilometer.
Bertrix is also home to the Jehonville Air Base. This is a special airport used by NATO, which is a group of countries working together for defense.

The Bertrix railway station is on the east side of town. You can catch regular trains from here. These trains can take you to places like Libramont, Dinant, and Virton. On weekdays, trains also travel through Virton and Aubange to reach Arlon.
