Bertsch–Oceanview is a special kind of community in Del Norte County, California, United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town but isn't officially a city with its own local government.
This community is located just east of Crescent City. It sits at an elevation of about 20 feet (6 meters) above sea level. Bertsch–Oceanview covers a total area of about 5.9 square miles (15.3 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a small part being water.
In 2020, about 2,520 people lived in Bertsch–Oceanview. This was a small increase from the 2,436 people who lived there in 2010. An Indian reservation called the Elk Valley Rancheria is also located within Bertsch–Oceanview.

The 2010 United States Census showed that 2,436 people lived in Bertsch–Oceanview. Most of the people living there, about 74.3%, were White. About 12.1% were Native American, and 3.9% were Asian.
