Darian Morgan, known as Big Tigger, is a famous American TV and radio host, DJ, and rapper. He is well-known for hosting popular shows on BET, like Rap City and 106 & Park. He was born on December 22, 1972.

About Big Tigger
Early Life and Career
Darian Morgan grew up in Co-op City in The Bronx, New York. His mother was an immigrant from Jamaica, and his father was African-American. He enjoyed playing basketball in his neighborhood.
Big Tigger started his career as a DJ at a radio station called WERQ, 92Q, in Baltimore. But his journey to success began even earlier.
College and Radio Start
While he was a student at the University of Maryland, College Park, he got an internship at a radio station in Washington, D.C. called WPGC 95.5 FM. There, he worked with a popular host named Albie Dee. People quickly noticed Big Tigger's strong drive and friendly personality.
His college internship soon turned into a successful career. Big Tigger became very popular on night radio because of his creative freestyles. When he moved back to New York City in 2001, he was known as the top nighttime radio host in D.C. for six years straight.
Big Tigger's BET Shows
Becoming a TV Host
Big Tigger first appeared on TV in 1996, doing voiceovers for Black Entertainment Television. He was still working in radio at the time. Within a year, fans could see him on camera in Rap City's "Hip Hop News" segment.
He then became a co-host of Rap City for its tenth season, working with Leslie Segar and Joe Clair. Later, BET changed the show's format, and Big Tigger became the only video jockey. He hosted Rap City from 1998 to 2005.
Other BET Programs
Big Tigger also hosted BET Style until its last episode on July 6, 2006. He also hosted many episodes of a show called BET: Uncut.
Big Tigger on the Radio
Syndicated Radio Show
Until April 2013, Big Tigger hosted a radio show called Live In Tha Den with Big Tigger. This show was played on many Hip-Hop/R&B radio stations across the country on weekends. Famous hip-hop artists like Jay-Z appeared as guests on his show. He also counted down the Top 20 Hip-Hop/R&B songs of the week.
New York and Atlanta Radio
In 2006, he hosted a temporary morning show in New York City on WWPR "Power 1051 FM."
He returned to WPGC 95.5 FM in 2007 as the host for the afternoon drive time. On April 12, 2010, Big Tigger took over the weekday morning show on WPGC, hosting from 6 AM to 10 AM. He left WPGC on December 22, 2011.
In January 2013, he started hosting the afternoon show on WVEE in Atlanta. As of August 2020, he became the host of the morning show on WVEE.

Music and Video Games
Big Tigger also has a rap career. He was featured on a song called "Snake" from R. Kelly's 2003 album, Chocolate Factory. He also made vocal appearances on albums for other hip-hop artists like Method Man and Redman.
In 2001, Big Tigger showed his rapping skills on a special CD-ROM for Jordan Brand, which came with the Air Jordan 17 basketball shoes. He also recorded the announcing and ring introductions for Fight Night 2004, a boxing video game by EA Sports. You could even unlock Big Tigger as a playable fighter in the game!
Sports and TV Appearances
He works as the resident DJ for Atlanta Falcons games and is the PA announcer for Atlanta Hawks games.

Direct Access with Big Tigger
On April 3, 2010, Big Tigger started hosting a TV show called Direct Access with Big Tigger. This show is made in Washington, DC, and covers news in entertainment, sports, music, and DC nightlife. It includes interviews with celebrities and features popular music videos. The show can be seen on DC50-TV/WDCW and WPHL-TV.
