Bisa Kdei made history as the first Ghanaian artist to become famous through a movie soundtrack. This was a big step for his career!
He has worked with many popular musicians from Ghana, Africa, and even around the world. Some of the Ghanaian artists he has collaborated with include Sarkodie, Efya, Stonebwoy, and Becca. He has also worked with international stars like Patoranking and Reekado Banks.
Bisa Kdei is not just a singer; he also produces music. He even produced some of his own collaborations, like "Chingam" for Sarkodie and "One of Your Own" for Efya.
He looks up to many older musicians for inspiration, such as Nana Ampadu and Daddy Lumba. Bisa Kdei hopes his music can make a positive difference in people's lives everywhere. He also wants to make Ghana proud and be a strong role model for others.
Working with International Artists
In November 2020, something really cool happened! A remix of Bisa Kdei's song "Asew" (which first came out in 2018) was used in a big movie. It became part of the soundtrack for Netflix's 2020 Christmas movie, "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey".
Bisa Kdei was asked to create music for this movie alongside famous artists like Usher Raymond and John Legend. In August 2021, he met David E. Talbert and Lyn Sisson Talbert, who produced the movie.
