Bryon Anthony McCane II (born September 12, 1976), known as Bizzy Bone, is an American rapper and singer. He is the youngest member of the famous Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

Early Life and Childhood

Bryon Anthony McCane II was born in Columbus, Ohio. When he was four years old, Bryon and his two sisters faced a difficult time. They were taken by their mother’s boyfriend and were away from their family for over two years. Bryon later shared that he didn't know he had been taken at first. He was made to believe his mother and grandmother were no longer alive.

During this time, Bryon and his sisters lived in many different places. They stayed in homes, apartments, cars, and motels across northern Oklahoma. In 1983, they had been living on the Kaw Indian Reservation in Kaw, Oklahoma. A babysitter saw Bryon's photo on a TV show about missing children. She called the police, and Bryon and his sisters were safely returned to their family.

When he was 13, Bryon moved to live with his oldest sister near Cleveland, Ohio. This is where he met other future members of his rap group: Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. In 1992, Bizzy Bone helped start a hip-hop group called Bone Enterpri$e. This group later caught the attention of Eazy-E, a founder of the rap group N.W.A. Eazy-E changed their name to Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony.

Music Career Highlights

Bizzy Bone started his solo music career in 1998. He is known for his unique rap style. He often combines very fast rapping with singing choruses that have a soft, high-pitched sound. His first solo album, Heaven'z Movie, was very popular. It was even certified Gold by the RIAA, meaning it sold over 500,000 copies.

His album The Gift, released in 2001, reached number two on the US Billboard Independent Albums chart. Many songs on this album talked about his own life and childhood experiences.

In 2004, Bizzy released Alpha and Omega. This album showed a new direction in his music and lyrics. Fans and critics liked the change. He then released Speaking In Tongues in 2005. The title came from a radio interview where Bizzy Bone spoke about spiritual topics. Critics praised this album for its raw sound and Bizzy's deep lyrics. In 2006, he released four more albums. Two of them, The Story and Midwest Cowboy, did well on the music charts and received good reviews.

In 2008, Bizzy Bone teamed up again with Layzie Bone to form Bone Brothers. They released two new albums together. That same year, Bizzy also released two solo albums. One was Ruthless, which featured other famous rappers like Rick Ross and Pitbull. The other was A Song For You, which included artists like DMX and Jim Jones. Many music critics called A Song For You one of Bizzy's best albums ever.

In 2010, Bizzy Bone was part of a special project called We Are The World 25 for Haiti. This song was a re-recording of a famous charity song. It was made to help Haiti after a big earthquake. Also in 2010, Bizzy Bone released his first rap rock album, Crossroads 2010, which fans and critics enjoyed.

Bizzy Bone continued to release new music. On September 12, 2019, he released Carbon Monoxide. This album quickly reached number three on the iTunes album chart. Exactly one year later, on his 44th birthday in 2020, he released The Mantra, which debuted at number four on the iTunes chart. He kept this tradition going, releasing War of Roses on his 45th birthday in 2021.

Personal Life

On February 1, 2020, Bryon married Jessica Nancy Cassidy, also known as JCass. JCass is a singer, songwriter, and model from Houston, Texas. They started dating in late 2016 and got engaged in 2017.

Together, Bryon and Jessica have one child, a son named Jesse Anthony McCane, or JAM. He was born on March 7, 2018, in Houston, Texas. The family shares their life and careers on a YouTube channel called JAM tv. Bizzy also has nine other children from earlier relationships.
