Black Dome is an interesting mountain located in the state of Arizona, United States. It stands tall as the second highest point in the western part of the Tank Mountains. This mountain is found in the northwestern area of the Sonoran Desert.
Black Dome is specifically located in northeastern Yuma County. It is about 57 miles (92 kilometers) east-northeast of the city of Yuma.

Black Dome is part of the Tank Mountains. These mountains stretch from east to west. They are next to the Kofa Mountains to the northwest.
Kofa National Wildlife Refuge
A large part of the Tank Mountains, including Black Dome, is inside the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. This special area helps protect wildlife.
