Bo Davis (born May 17, 1970) is an American football coach. He used to play as a defensive lineman. Currently, he coaches the defensive line for the LSU Tigers.

Bo Davis has had an exciting career in American football. He started as a player and then became a successful coach. He has worked with many college teams and even some professional NFL teams.
Early Coaching Days at LSU
Bo Davis began his coaching journey at his old college, LSU. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a graduate assistant. After that, he coached at North Shore High School in Texas.
He returned to LSU in 2002. There, he worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. During this time, he helped the team win a national championship in 2003. This was a big achievement early in his career.
Coaching in the NFL: Miami Dolphins
In 2006, Bo Davis moved to the professional league. He joined the Miami Dolphins as an assistant defensive line coach. This gave him experience coaching at the highest level of football.
Success with Alabama Crimson Tide
Davis then joined the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2007. He became their defensive line coach. This was a very successful time for him. He helped Alabama win a national championship in 2009.
After a few years, he left Alabama. But he returned for a second time in 2014. He coached the defensive line again. In 2015, he helped Alabama win another national championship. This made him a three-time national champion coach.
Coaching the Texas Longhorns
Bo Davis has coached the Texas Longhorns twice. His first time was from 2011 to 2013. He coached the defensive tackles. He returned to Texas for a second time in 2021. He worked as their defensive line coach until 2023.
Other Coaching Roles
Davis also spent time coaching other teams. In 2016, he was an intern for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL. In 2017, he coached the defensive line for the UTSA Roadrunners. He also coached for the Detroit Lions in the NFL from 2018 to 2020.

In 2024, Bo Davis returned to the LSU Tigers for his second time. He is currently their defensive line coach. This shows his strong connection to his former college team.
