Boland Lake is a special kind of lake located in Ontario, Canada. It's found in the Nipissing District, which is in the northeastern part of the province. This lake is known as an endorheic lake. This means it doesn't have any rivers flowing out of it to the ocean. Instead, water only leaves the lake by evaporating or soaking into the ground.
Boland Lake is quite small, measuring about 1.6 kilometers (1 mile) long and 0.9 kilometers (0.6 miles) wide. It sits next to the La Salle Lakes and is about 5.5 kilometers (3.4 miles) northeast of a place called Diver, Ontario. Diver is a small railway point on the Ontario Northland Railway. Boland Lake also has one small, unnamed island.
Getting to Boland Lake
Boland Lake is easy to reach by road. It's located on the north side of a smaller road. This road can take you to a few different places.
- You can travel northeast from Diver to McLaren's Bay. This community is on the shore of Lake Timiskaming.
- Another branch of the road goes southeast. This path leads to Ontario Highway 63. This spot is about halfway between the highway's crossing over the Jocko River and Lake Timiskaming.

Boland Lake is a great spot for outdoor fun! On its southern shore, you'll find the Boland Lake campsite. This campsite is part of the larger McConnell Lake Campgrounds. It has road access, making it simple to visit. It's a perfect place for camping and enjoying nature.
