Boomer Bay is a small, quiet place in Tasmania, Australia. It's known as a "rural locality," which means it's a countryside area, not a big city. It's part of the Sorell area in the south-east of Tasmania.

This peaceful spot is about 27 kilometers (about 17 miles) east of a town called Sorell. In 2016, a count of people (called a census) showed that only 93 people lived in Boomer Bay.
