The Division of Lyons is a special area in Tasmania, Australia. It's an "electoral division," which means it's a part of the country that gets to choose someone to represent them in the Australian Parliament. This division was created in 1984.
It is named after two very important people: Joseph Lyons and his wife, Dame Enid Lyons. Joseph Lyons was a Prime Minister of Australia from 1931 to 1939. Dame Enid Lyons made history too! She was the first woman ever elected to the Australian House of Representatives in 1943. She was also the first woman to be part of the Australian Cabinet (a group of important government ministers) from 1949 to 1951.
