Borgloon is a city and a group of towns (called a municipality) in the Limburg province of Belgium. In 2006, about 10,697 people lived in Borgloon. It covers an area of about 51 square kilometers. This means about 209 people live in each square kilometer.
Borgloon was once the capital of an old area called the County of Loon. It was the main city until the year 1200.
