Bowman is a city located in North Dakota, United States. It is the main town, also known as the county seat, of Bowman County. In 2020, about 1,470 people lived there.

History of Bowman
Bowman was started in 1907. This was around the same time a railroad line was built to the area. The city got its name from Bowman County. A post office has been open in Bowman since it was founded in 1907.

The United States Census Bureau says that Bowman covers about 1.53 square miles (3.96 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the city limits.
