Brad Lester, born on October 24, 1985, is a former American football player. He was a running back who played college football for Auburn University.
Brad Lester's Early Life
Brad Lester grew up in Lilburn, Georgia. His parents are Phillis Miller and Calvin Lester. He went to Parkview High School in Georgia. While there, he played football and was teammates with Jeff Francoeur. Jeff later became a professional baseball player.
College Football Career
Brad Lester played college football for the Auburn Tigers. During his time at Auburn, he faced some challenges. He missed the 2007 Cotton Bowl game. He also missed the first five games of the 2007 season. This was due to concerns about his school grades. Later, he got a serious injury during a game against Mississippi State.
Playing Professional Football
After college, Brad Lester was not chosen in the 2009 NFL draft. This means no NFL team picked him right away. However, he did get a chance to try out for the Houston Texans team in 2009. This happened after another player, Jeremiah Johnson, got injured.
In 2010, Brad Lester played in the CFL. He joined the Edmonton Eskimos team. Later, in 2012, he signed with the Georgia Rampage. This team was part of the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) for their 2013 season.
