Braian Damián Rodríguez Carballo (born August 14, 1986), known as Braian Rodríguez, is a professional football player from Uruguay. He is known for playing as a striker, which means he's usually the one trying to score goals! Currently, he plays for a team called Juventude in Brazil.
Braian Rodríguez's Football Journey
Braian started his football journey in his hometown of Salto, Uruguay. He began his senior career with a local team called Cerro in Uruguay's top league. After that, he played for Rentistas and then Tacuarembó. A year later, he joined a well-known club in Uruguay, Peñarol.
In 2010, Braian decided to play football in other countries for the first time. He moved to Argentina to play for Tigre. Six months later, he went to Peru and joined Universidad San Martín. Even though he didn't play much there, he moved again, this time to Chile, to play for Unión La Calera.
In January 2012, Braian joined another Chilean team, Huachipato. This was a great move for him! He scored 17 goals in his first season and helped his team win the Clausura tournament, which is a big championship.
On July 25, 2013, Braian made a big step in his career by joining Real Betis, a team in La Liga, which is Spain's top football league. He signed a four-year contract with them.
Later, in March 2015, Braian was loaned to a Brazilian club called Grêmio. A loan means he played for them for a while but was still officially a player for Real Betis.
