Brandon Lamar Jackson (born October 2, 1985) is an American former professional football player. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the 2007 NFL Draft. He later won Super Bowl XLV with the Packers. He played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Early Life and High School Football
Brandon Jackson was a star player at Horn Lake High School in Mississippi. He was named the best offensive player in Class 5A twice. He was also chosen for the "Dandy Dozen" list by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. This list features the top 12 players in the state of Mississippi.
In 2003, Brandon helped his team turn their season around. They started with five losses but made it to the Mississippi State Playoffs.
Track and Field Achievements
Besides football, Brandon was also a talented track athlete. He earned four letters in track during high school. His fastest time in the 100 meters was 10.6 seconds. As a senior, he finished sixth in the 100-meter state race. He also helped his relay teams achieve high finishes at state meets.
When he went to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, he continued to compete in track. He ran in the 60 meters and 200 meters races.
College Football Career
Brandon Jackson played college football for the Nebraska team. During his time there, he started 11 games out of 33 played. He ran for a total of 1,431 yards and scored 14 touchdowns.

Brandon Jackson was picked by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He was the 63rd player chosen overall.
Green Bay Packers Highlights
Brandon scored his first NFL touchdown in his third game on September 23, 2007. This was against the San Diego Chargers. On December 30, 2007, he ran for over 100 yards in a game for the first time.
On January 2, 2008, Brandon was named NFL Rookie of the Week. This was for his great game against the Detroit Lions. In that game, he ran the ball 20 times for 113 yards. He also caught two passes for 22 yards, helping the Packers win 34–13. In his first season, he rushed for 267 yards and scored one touchdown. He also caught 16 passes for 130 yards.
In 2008, Brandon played in 13 games. He rushed for 248 yards and scored one touchdown. He also caught 30 passes for 185 yards. In 2009, he ran for 111 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns. He also had one receiving touchdown.
In 2010, the Packers' starting running back, Ryan Grant, got injured. Brandon Jackson then became the starter. That season, Brandon had his best year yet. He rushed for 703 yards and caught passes for 342 yards. Later in the season, he shared the starting role with rookie player James Starks.
At the end of the 2010 season, Brandon and the Packers played in Super Bowl XLV. They won the Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In that big game, Brandon caught one pass for 14 yards.

After Retirement: Coaching Career
After his playing career, Brandon Jackson became a coach. In 2017, he worked as an intern running backs coach for the Green Bay Packers. Over the next three years, he coached wide receivers at Tusculum College. He then coached running backs at Austin Peay State University and Southeast Missouri State University.
In 2022, Brandon became the head coach at his old high school, Horn Lake High School. He is a Christian.
