Brendan's Football Journey

Starting at Milton Keynes Dons

Brendan made his first-team debut for Milton Keynes Dons when he was just 15 years old. This was in an FA Cup match on November 12, 2011. He came on as a substitute in a big 6–0 win. He played his first league game on April 28, 2012. He scored his first goal for the team on November 9, 2013. This was in a 4–1 win against Halifax Town.

Playing for Everton

In August 2014, Brendan joined Everton. He signed a five-year contract with the club. For most of his first season, he played for Everton's under-21 team. He got his chance to play for the senior team on May 16, 2015. This was in an away game against West Ham United. Even though he usually played as a centre-back, he played as a left-back in this game.

At the start of the 2015–16 season, Brendan got more chances to play. Everton's regular left-back was injured. Brendan started the first match of the season against Watford. On December 10, 2015, Brendan signed a new contract with Everton. This showed that the club wanted him to stay.

Loan to West Bromwich Albion

On August 22, 2016, Brendan joined West Bromwich Albion. He went there on a loan for the whole season. He made his first league start for West Brom on August 28, 2016. In April 2017, Everton called him back from his loan early.

Time at Luton Town

On July 3, 2019, Brendan moved to Luton Town for free. He played for them until May 2021. At that time, his contract ended, and he left the club.
