Bryan's Basketball Journey
After college, Bryan Davis started his professional basketball career in 2010. He played for many different teams around the world.
Early Career in Europe and Asia
Bryan's first team was Czarni Słupsk in Poland during the 2010–11 season. After that, he played in Ukraine for Kryvbasbasket. In 2012, he went to China to play for Hebei Springs.
Later in 2012, Bryan played in South Korea. He was part of the Seoul Samsung Thunders and the Sonic Boom KT. In 2013, he returned to Poland to play for Czarni Słupsk again. He also played for Jiang Xi in China that year.
Playing in the NBA Development League
In November 2013, Bryan joined the Reno Bighorns. This team was part of the NBA Development League, which is now called the G League. He played 52 games for Reno during the 2013–14 season. He averaged about 9.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
Success in New Zealand
Bryan moved to New Zealand in May 2014. He signed with the Wellington Saints for the rest of their season. He helped the Saints win the championship that year. In eight games, he averaged 9.8 points and 8.8 rebounds. He also had 1.5 steals per game.
He returned to the Wellington Saints in May 2016. He helped them win another championship in the 2016 New Zealand NBL season.
Time in Taiwan
In November 2014, Bryan joined a team in Taiwan called Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor. He was chosen to play in the 2015 SBL All-Star Game. He had a great season, averaging 28.3 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. He also led the league in scoring and steals that year.
In December 2015, he returned to Taiwan to play for the Dacin Tigers. He was an All-Star again. He averaged 20.1 points and 12.1 rebounds per game. He also led the league in steals for a second time. In 2017, he led the SBL in assists.
Other Teams and Later Career
Bryan also played in Puerto Rico for Capitanes de Arecibo in 2015. He joined Czarni Słupsk in Poland for a third time in November 2015. He also played for Spirou Charleroi in Belgium in 2016. Later that year, he signed with Taiwan Beer.
From 2017 to 2019, Bryan played for several more teams. These included Club Trouville in Uruguay, Westports Malaysia Dragons, and Belfius Mons-Hainaut in Belgium. He also played for Ángeles de Puebla and Halcones de Ciudad Obregón in Mexico. His career ended in 2019.
Personal Life
Bryan Davis is a Christian. In 2009, he visited New Zealand with a group called Athletes in Action. This group helps people grow spiritually through sports. While there, he played against a team that included Corey Webster. Corey later became his teammate on the Wellington Saints.
