A Difficult Injury
On January 25, 2014, Bryan faced a serious challenge. He broke his left leg during an FA Cup game against Stevenage. This injury was a clean break to both his tibia and fibula bones.
His manager, Roberto Martínez, spoke about how sad everyone was. He said Bryan had been having a great season. Bryan needed surgery to fix his leg. Sadly, this injury meant he could not play for Costa Rica in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
