Byron Chief-Moon was born in Carlsbad, California, in the USA. He is part of the Kainai Nation, also known as the Blood Tribe. This nation is part of the larger Blackfoot Confederacy in southern Alberta, Canada.
Career
Byron Chief-Moon has acted in many popular TV shows. These include MacGyver, Stargate SG-1, and Walker, Texas Ranger. He also appeared in North of 60 and Highlander: The Series.
He was in the Disney movie White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf. This film was a sequel to the original White Fang. A well-known role for him was playing Taha Aki. This was the Quileute chief in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Besides acting, Chief-Moon is also a skilled dancer and choreographer. He creates dance theatre shows. Some of his dance pieces are named Possessed, Dancing voices, and Voices. He also made an experimental video dance piece called Jonesing. He has choreographed for a documentary named Echoes of the Sisters. He also worked on the dance film Quest.
