The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum is a special place dedicated to the 30th U.S. President, Calvin Coolidge. It's like a museum and a library combined, where you can learn all about his life and time as president.
Where to Find the Library
The library is located inside the Forbes Library in Northampton, Massachusetts. This city was very important to Calvin Coolidge. Before he became president, he worked as a lawyer and even served as the mayor of Northampton.
How the Library Started
The idea for the Coolidge Library began in 1920. That's when Calvin Coolidge started giving his important papers and special items to the Forbes Library. Later, in 1956, his wife, Grace Coolidge, helped create the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Room. This room was made to keep even more of his collection safe and available for people to see.
