Cameron Keith Collier, born on November 20, 2004, is a talented American baseball player. He plays as a third baseman for the Cincinnati Reds team. Before joining the professional leagues, he played college baseball for the Chipola Indians.

Cam's Early Baseball Journey
Cam grew up in Austell, Georgia. He went to Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. Even in his first year of high school, he was so good that he committed to play college baseball at Louisville.
High School Success
During his second year of high school, Cam was an amazing player. He hit for a .434 average, which means he got a hit almost half the times he batted! He also hit 13 home runs, brought in 40 runs for his team, and stole 19 bases. After this great season, he played in a special event called the Perfect Game Junior National Showcase. Many people thought he would be one of the best young players in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.
Moving to College Early
After his sophomore year, Cam decided to finish high school early by getting his General Educational Development (GED). This allowed him to join the college class of 2022 instead of 2023. He then went to Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.
Even before his first college season, Cam was recognized as a top player. He was put on the watchlist for the Golden Spikes Award, which goes to the best amateur baseball player in the United States. In his first year at Chipola, he batted .333, hit 8 home runs, and helped his team score 47 runs. After the 2022 season, he played summer baseball for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Becoming a Professional Player
The Cincinnati Reds team picked Cam Collier in the first round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He was the 18th player chosen overall! On July 25, 2022, Cam signed a contract with the Reds for $5 million.
All-Star Futures Game
In 2024, Cam got to play in the All-Star Futures Game. This is a special game where some of the best young players in minor league baseball get to show off their skills. Cam hit a home run in the game and was named the most valuable player (MVP)!
Cam's Family Life
Cam's father, Lou Collier, was also a professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) and in the Korea Baseball Organization.
