Cameron McGrone, born on June 22, 2000, is an American professional football player. He plays as a linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. The New England Patriots drafted him in 2021.

Early Life and High School Football
Cameron McGrone grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He went to Lawrence Central High School. In his senior year, he played seven games. He had a great season, making 84 tackles and four sacks. This was after he recovered from a knee injury (ACL tear) he had the year before. Cameron also played in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Game. This is a special game for top high school football players. After high school, he decided to play college football at the University of Michigan.
College Football Career
Cameron McGrone started his college football journey at Michigan in 2018. He played in one game during his first year.
Becoming a Starter at Michigan
In 2019, his second year, Cameron became a starter. He stepped up when another player, Josh Ross, got injured. That season, Cameron played in 13 games and started 10 of them. He made 66 tackles and had four sacks, showing his skills on the field.
