Camila Giorgi is known for her very aggressive playing style. She hits the ball early and with great power. Her two-handed backhand is especially strong, allowing her to hit winning shots from anywhere on the court. She tries to hit the ball close to the lines, which means she hits many winners but also makes many errors.

Her serve can be inconsistent, and she sometimes hits many double faults. However, she is very good at returning serves, often hitting deep returns that win points quickly. Her favorite surfaces to play on are fast hard courts and grass courts.
