Carbonate Mountain is a very tall mountain in the southern Sawatch Range. This mountain range is part of the larger Rocky Mountains in North America.

The summit of Carbonate Mountain is 13,670 feet (about 4,167 meters) high. Mountains over 13,000 feet are sometimes called "thirteeners."

Carbonate Mountain is located in the San Isabel National Forest. It is about 8.7 kilometers (5.4 miles) north of a small town called Garfield. Both are in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States.
