Cardona is a town in Spain, located in the Catalonia region. It is about 90 kilometers (56 miles) northwest of the city of Barcelona. The town sits on a hill, almost surrounded by the Cardener river.

Cardona is famous for its unique mountain of rock salt. This mountain is called Muntanya de Sal, which means "Salt Mountain". The salt is often clear or see-through. People have been mining salt from this hill since the time of the Roman Empire. Artists in Cardona have used pieces of this salt to create beautiful carvings like images and decorations.

This church holds a special artwork called a polyptych by an artist named Pere Vall. It shows St. Anne, the Virgin, and St. Amador. The church also has a baptismal font from the 15th century.
