Carlisle is a city located in Lonoke County, Arkansas, United States. It is the city farthest east within the larger Little Rock metropolitan area. Carlisle officially became a city in 1878. According to the 2020 census, about 2,033 people live there.

Major Roads in Carlisle

  • Interstate 40 (I-40) runs along the north side of the city. You can get on it from Exit 183 (Highway 13).
