Caroline Sara Dubois (born 11 January 2001) is a talented British professional boxer. She is known as "Sweet Caroline" and has achieved a lot in the boxing world. Since December 2024, she has held the WBC women's lightweight world title. Before becoming a professional, Caroline was a Youth Olympic champion, a World Youth champion, and won the European Youth title four times. She is also the younger sister of heavyweight boxing world champion Daniel Dubois.

Caroline's Early Life

Caroline Dubois grew up in London, England. She is one of eleven children in her family. Her father, who is from Grenada, raised her and her siblings.

Her Amateur Boxing Journey

Caroline started boxing when she was just nine years old. Her father wanted her to train at a top club where her older brother Daniel had trained. For her first few months at Repton Amateur Boxing Club, Caroline pretended to be a boy named Colin.

Winning Junior and Youth Titles

Caroline quickly showed her talent. In 2017, she won the European Junior Championships. She beat Nune Asatrian in the final. The next year, she won the English National Youth Championships.

In August 2018, Caroline became England's first World Youth Champion. She won against Nune Asatrian again. Later that year, at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, she won the gold medal. She beat Porntip Buapa in the final match.

Caroline continued her winning streak in 2019. She won the European Youth Championships again. She also won the England Boxing National Youth Championships. By February 2020, Caroline was unbeaten in her amateur career. She then decided she wanted to become a professional boxer.

Awards and Olympic Dreams

Caroline's achievements were noticed. In 2018, she won the SportsAid One-to-Watch award. This award is given to promising young athletes. In 2019, she was named BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.

In July 2024, Caroline signed a deal with Boxxer. She then fought Maira Moneo for the interim WBC women's lightweight world title. Caroline won this fight by a clear decision from the judges.

On December 11, 2024, Caroline Dubois became the full WBC female lightweight champion. This happened after Katie Taylor gave up her title.

Caroline defended her titles on January 11, 2025, against Jessica Camara. The fight ended in a technical draw. This was because Camara got a cut from an accidental clash of heads.
